UPDATE:

Muppet's newest photo shows just how far she's come! After a couple months of good nutrition and medical care her bloodwork has improved to the point that she is now able to have dental and spay surgery. Please continue to send Muppet good wishes!

Sweet Muppet was brought into the San Jose Animal care center by a good samaritan who found her running stray in San Jose. She was emaciated, covered in fleas, missing half her hair, and had a mouth full of rotten teeth. SVPP was contacted to see if we could help her and we were so glad a foster stepped up to say "yes!"

One of our compassionate volunteers rushed Muppet to the vet to be shaved and given medications to start her on the right track back to health. She will be in foster care for several months while she gains weight and regains her curly poodle 'do.
