Riley is living the life of, well, Riley!  According to his foster family, he is the definition of a good dog and can surprisingly quiet for a beagle (at least when he is indoors).  Riley is eager and funny, and he provides wonderful companionship and a lot of laughter with his antics.  This 19-pound boy is also very lovable and loving, cuddly and enjoys affection.

He is a playful beagle who loves his toys and a good game of fetch.  Riley is eager to go on walks, go outside, or do whatever his foster family is doing—he definitely wants to be a part of the action!  True companionship is important for this guy, especially having a doggy friend in his forever home.

Riley has a true hound's nose and needs an adopter who understands the concept "nose down, ears closed" and how to provide a good home for a hound dog (secure yard, training for good recall, and planned adventures). He would be a great student in nose work classes, too!  

Riley is working on his leash manners because he can get too excited when outside and seeing (or hearing) doggy neighbors.  He needs an adopter willing to continue his training and help him learn that other dogs are friends.
