Rex is a sweet, mellow, and easy to handle toothless kitty! Rex lost all his teeth to Stomatitis, a common mouth and gum disease. He currently takes a dose of medication every other day to keep his mouth happy and healthy. He's polite about taking his medication and it's inexpensive (less than $5 per month). These days he loves grain-free canned food – chowing down with gusto… ;)) He responds when he’s called, and drools when he gets petted because he enjoys this so much. Rex will charm you once he gets to know you. We think he'd be happiest in a quieter home- probably no unruly dogs or rambunctious young cats. It’s true that handsome Rex had a rough start in life living on the streets of San Jose and all that entails. But now that he got a second chance and found people that believed in him, his future is bright. Would you like to make a difference in Rex’s life, and give his story the happy ending he deserves? Prior to adoption, all cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated, dewormed, deflead, and microchipped.
