Simba is looking for his forever home!

Simba LOVES toys, Kongs and balls, is eager to learn, loves a good sniff walk or a ride in the car, and is always ready for a cuddle. He s a wonderful outdoor dining companion, as he is a gentleman in public. Simba is working on his leash skills and will benefit from continued training. He gets very excited when seeing cats, squirrels, and dogs while walking. He knows several commands, including sit, down, stay, shake, kennel, go to your bed, and come.

Simba is a talker. He can be vocal when seeing other dogs or wants your attention. He is happiest when he is with his people. Transitions are challenging and he experiences separation anxiety when left alone. Because he barks, a single family home rather than an apartment or condo will be a better fit for him. Simba would prefer to be an only dog, but would also do well with another large dog with time and training on both parts. He is quite friendly and calm when properly introduced.

Simba has been working with his foster families on both training and figuring out his separation anxiety and he will benefit from continued, high quality training. Simba had a few teeth pulled recently, but this has not slowed him down in the least.

Like every dog, Simba will need time and lots of patience to get settled in to his new home, and he is so worth it!

Prior to adoption, all dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm, vaccinated (including rabies, if age appropriate) and microchipped.
