Koda is a very special puppy. She was purchased from a disreputable breeder and then abandoned when she was diagnosed with Parvo shortly after. Thanks to her dedicated Medvet doctors and techs, SVPP's wonderful supporters, and her dedicated foster, today Koda is a wiggly, happy, thriving puppy who is ready for a forever home!

Koda is all puppy. She is mostly potty trained but still has accidents. She chews on everything, but is easily redirected. She can be mouthy during play and when seeking attention. She definitely needs supervision, as she can be a bit of an escape artist from her crate and she has some separation anxiety. She wants to be with her family, loves to play with her toys, and is eager to learn. All things to be expected of a Rottweiler puppy.

Koda will do best with an experienced Rottweiler or other large breed dog family. She will require consistent, high quality training, exercise and enrichment. She does not need another dog for company, and will likely do well as an only dog.

Koda is not yet spayed, so she is available for Foster to Adopt. Her spay is scheduled and will take place in San Jose in June.

Prior to adoption, all dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm, vaccinated (including rabies, if age appropriate) and microchipped.
