Mila is a 47 pound Pit Heeler. There is only one word to describe Mila...Elegant. She is a beautiful, delicate dog with a lovely temperament and a desire to be with her people.   Mila is very smart, highly trainable, super sweet, and very easy going. She may have bursts of energy which can be easily handled with long walks and playing fetch. She loves to jump to catch the ball. Squeaky toys are her favorites.  While she can be high energy, Mila also loves to hang out on her bed with a bone or a toy, or cuddle on the couch with her humans.

Mila enjoys meeting polite dogs while out on walks, but she will do best as an only pet. Mila experiences some anxiety during transitions, but settles in beautifully and bonds well within a few weeks. There will be circumstances where Mila's anxiety will be higher, and during those times, Mila does very well wearing her muzzle and looking to her human for treats and support.

Mila is fully housetrained and crate trained. She loves car rides and visiting new trails to explore. She is very food motivated and loves to learn new behaviors. Mila will do well with continued, high quality, positive reinforcement training.

Prior to adoption, all dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm, vaccinated (including rabies, if age appropriate) and microchipped.  Mila will be spayed in mid-November, and will be available for adoption approximately one week after.
