My Life Starts Now: Shyla is a reminder of a dog's amazing ability to forgive people. Found running through a neighborhood in San Leandro, sweet Shyla is covered with pressure wounds and skin infection. She has an eye infection and probably ear infections, because her ears have been cut off. Meeting Shyla, one would never know the neglect she has suffered. All she wants is to climb into your lap for a cuddle and a scratch. Thanks to her wonderful foster family, complete with two pittie foster siblings, sweet Shyla will be given the care she needs to heal her body so that it matches the beauty of her soul.

Prior to adoption, all dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm, vaccinated (including rabies, if age appropriate) and microchipped.
