Bio: Sweet 9 lb. Hope was found as a stray in early November 2020. She was extremely underweight and the shelter staff fell in love with her because she is truly a sweet girl. And, who can resist her huge, brown, soulful eyes? All she needed was a warm foster home, loving care, and lots of chow. We are happy to see that she has gained weight and flourished in foster care. She is an easy-to-love dog with a calm demeanor, and she gets along well with other dogs. Quiet is her middle name and napping is her game! When she is not curled up in her oval bed, she likes to quietly explore the house or the backyard and check out what's going on. She enjoys a little walk each day, but she does not demand it. Happy to be picked up or in your lap but not the least bit needy. Being 12-15 years old, she is looking for a loving family that can provide her with love, warmth, soft places to sleep, and food, lots of food. Prior to adoption, all dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm, vaccinated (including rabies, if age appropriate) and microchipped.
