My Life Starts Now: Found in an abandoned car the day before Thanksgiving, tiny 8 week old, 3-pound Sprig survived the cold night and was found by one of Tricity Shelter's Animal Control officers. The shelter immediately contacted SVPP asking if we could help, and thankfully, we had an experienced Chihuahua foster who was very happy to give her a home! Not that Sprig ever spent a night at the shelter. Aly, one of Tricity's amazing staff, kept Sprig safe and warm at her home and in the shelter office until she could be transferred to her SVPP foster. Tiny Sprig is on her way to an amazing, happy life!

Prior to adoption, all dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm, vaccinated (including rabies, if age appropriate) and microchipped.
