Persephone is a beautiful, unbelievably affectionate tortie with an outgoing personality. She is super playful and a vicious killer of cat toys. Hunting feather toys is a particular favorite of hers: stalking, wiggling her butt getting ready for the chase, sprinting around wildly trying to catch it, and jumping 4ft or more into the air swiping at it – she loves it all.

 

The only thing Persephone loves more than playing is being with her humans. Whenever her fosters walk into the room, Persephone greets them with happy meows and by excitedly flicking her tail (her signature move). She is an AMAZING cuddler and loves snuggling right up to her fosters, whether that’s during bedtime or for just a quick afternoon purr and pet session. It’s easy to tell when she’s happiest and most content because she starts mouthing “silent meows”, she’s too relaxed meow outloud.

 

Persephone is very curious about everything and enjoys following her fosters around the house, always interested in what exciting activities everyone is up to (even if that’s just another Zoom meeting). Some of recent thrills have been staring at water going down the drain (she gets so excited whenever she hears the faucet going) and climbing in and out of her fosters’ bedroom dresser drawers.

 

Persephone has a healthy appetite and lovessss treats! She knows where she’s allowed to scratch and uses the litterbox without any issues. More than anything, she’s incredibly excited to meet her lucky future parents!
