Snickers is a female 5 year old, 10 pound Chihuahua/Min-Pin mix. Tiny, chocolate and caramel Snickers was found as a stray in Newark. This sweet little girl is shy and very charming with her expressive eyes, curly tail and the cutest underbite! Snickers loves to be with her people, and is happiest burrowed under blankets and snoring happily. She wants to be your one and only, so is not recommended to live with any other pets.
 
Snickers is a sweetheart who loves to snuggle with her people. She loves pets and will nudge your hand with her head or climb into your lap to ask you to pet her. She loves napping in cozy blankets and has a cute snore. She is easy to handle and obedient. She even takes her medicine with minimal protest!
 
Snickers does have some specific medical needs. She has a heart condition that requires a daily medication. Snickers takes her pill easily and her condition is currently stable and well managed. Snickers also recently had several masses removed and thankfully she is clear of cancer, with excellent long-term prognosis. Her dental resulted in several tooth extractions, so her mouth feels amazing now!

Prior to adoption, all dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm, vaccinated (including rabies, if age appropriate) and microchipped.
