Won't you think about adopting me?
Pumpkin needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?
Meet Pumpkin or "Punkin" as he likes to be called. He comes down from his perch as soon as you enter his room, rubs up against you and starts purring as soon as you scratch his chin. When you sit down on the floor, he either drapes himself over your lap or sits down next to you. He raises his chin for more scritches and loves being brushed all over…including his tummy. His purr never stops as he is being brushed or petted. And if you hold the brush next to him, he will even brush himself. Punkin is a social eater and has a great appetite, enjoys his kibble, but turns his nose up at any canned food. A couple friends have visited him and he warms up to new people right away. He has met his foster's resident cat and they greeted each other politely, rubbing noses. He loves sleeping in a sunny spot and has the cutest snore.
Pumpkin is a special needs boy because he has been diagnosed with skin cancer on his nose. SVPP is doing additional diagnostics to determine the appropriate course of treatment. This social boy is grateful for all of the support to get him out of the shelter and into SVPP's adult cat foster program. Pumpkin is looking for a very special home, and would love to meet you!
Prior to adoption, all cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. Indoor homes only.
