Ruby is a 1.5 year old, 43 pound Catahoula dog. Ruby is ready to be your running, hiking, and all around workout partner!  She is sensitive, VERY eager to please, and is always looking for direction from her humans.  She is also very sweet and loves belly and chest scratches. 

Ruby is happy to meet other, well behaved dogs, but does not always feel comfortable playing. She much prefers the company of her humans. 

Ruby learns very quickly and will benefit from ongoing, positive reinforcement training. She generally does very well with redirection or distraction through food and/or working on commands.  She can be vocal when she encounters something scary (like bikes or strangers) but with treats, exposure and a little patience, very quickly is able to warm up. 

Prior to adoption, all dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm, vaccinated (including rabies, if age appropriate) and microchipped.
