Kiya is a 1.5 year old, 53 pound brindle Boxer mix. Kiya is the sweetest, most friendly girl you’ll ever meet! She loves to meet new people and will go out of her way to get pets from anyone. She is good with children and adults! She’s a silly girl, sometimes she’ll flip on her belly and make silly noises and throw her toys in the air. She also loves to give hugs! She absolutely loves her treats.
 
Kiya is a high energy girl who loves to play with her people and other high energy dogs! She will benefit from ongoing, high quality positive training, but she is super smart and ready to learn everything.
 
She loves cardboard and paper - put some treats in a cardboard box and she’ll go crazy for it! She loves a frozen kong with peanut butter or wet dog food, working through a long-lasting chew toy and a great game of tug!
 
Walking on leash seems to be new for Kiya, but she doesn’t pull unless she sees a squirrel or bird. She can get overwhelmed from time to time and may need encouragement to continue walking. Patience and treats help when the world is a little overwhelming.

Prior to adoption, all dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm, vaccinated (including rabies, if age appropriate) and microchipped.
