Monte is so devilishly handsome he will always get a second look from passersby.  He is a pug mix, based on the soft wrinkles on his brow and an adorable corkscrew tail.  His muzzle and elegant long legs hint of some boxer ancestry in the mix.   He is young, energetic and ready to take on the world.   While he may be a bit timid on his first introduction to you, he will create a strong bond once he decides you pass the trust test.   Monte is still very much a puppy, mischievous and likely to grab your slipper when you're not looking.  He is housetrained, sleeps quietly throughout the night in a crate, and enjoys playing with other dogs. Monte is awaiting his neuter surgery but is available to go to a foster-to-adopt family in the interim.
