Happy Young Boy!
Hayden is a 1 year old, 46 pound Doberman Pinscher mix. Who's ready to play? Hayden is!
Hayden was found emaciated and alone on the streets of San Jose a few months ago. While he could have given up; his sweet nature, resiliency and charm saved him as he was taken into foster care and given the food, medical care and love that he so badly needed. What we have learned most about Hayden is that he LOVES his friends! He is great with all kinds of people and dogs, though he is a high energy boy, so older, senior dogs may not have enough patience for his exuberant play.
Hayden is learning his manners both on leash and at home. He is very food motivated, which has made training super fun, but he is still figuring out the difference between "his" and "not his" when it comes to counter food. He has a training plan in place and is making great progress with management and consistency.
This sweet boy is crate trained and housetrained once he knows where he is. He is quickly picking up leash training and is an awesome partner for long car rides!
Hayden currently lives with an older female dog, but would also be fine as an only dog in an active family home.
