Riley is one lucky charm kitten! Riley and Charlie were found by a good samaritan and former SVPP adopter in a field near her home. The county had just cleared the field of weeds when she heard the tiny meows. After finding the two kittens, she found one of the field workers, who told her that the momma kitty and other babies had been killed during the field clearing. Sadly, with so much tall vegetation after this winters' storms, this is not an unusual situation.
With one blue eye and one green eye (also called Odd Eyes or Heterochromia), Riley is a very special kitten. He is smart, playful and inquisitive. He likes being held yet might wiggle out of your arms to go exploring. Since Riley is a pure white cat (we think he's a Turkish Van), so he will need to have limited exposure to the sun as these kitties have little melanin to protect them from the sun and can more easily get skin cancer. He will need to remain a purely indoor cat for that reason. Riley and his brother Charlie are currently with an experienced cat foster, where they are getting all the love, food, and play they need to grow into happy, loved housecats. Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped.
