Domestic Short Hair / Tabby / Mixed (short coat) : : Female : : Baby I would love you more than you can imagine.
Winnie is one of those rare, outgoing kitties who is not afraid to meet new poople! She was found as a tiny kitten in an empty building with no momma or siblings anywhere by her foster family. Thankfully, this rescue-savvy family took Winnie home and got her initial vet care before reaching out to SVPP for assistance.
Winnie is a playful and super social kitty that desires companionship. Her foster has a small dog she chases and plays hide-and seek with. Winnie also loves to play hide-and-pounce with her foster's resident cat.
As with many kittens who've lost their mom-cats too early, Winnie may still bite occasionally during play or petting. She pounces on anything that moves and bites playfully so she would do well in a home with an experienced owner who has experience with bitey kittens.
Her foster is doing a great job retraining her on this issue using consistent redirection and play controls. However, we would prefer a home for Winnie without small children as her new family would need to continue with her retraining in case of reoccurrence.
