Tango is a 33lb, approx 8 month-old neutered American Pitbull Terrier mix. We  know he might look a bit grouchy with his Resting Pittie Face. But nothing could be further from the truth!  If you’re looking for pure joy wrapped in a wiggly body and a happy tail, say hello to Tango! This 8-month-old American Pitbull Terrier mix is a bundle of love, laughter, and energy. With his big puppy eyes and ever-wagging tail, Tango has a talent for turning ordinary days into adventures.

Things Tango adores: His person/family. In fact, all humans. Dogs - Puppies, Grumpy old doggos - they all get Tango’s love. His food. Yes, please. Making you happy? Yes, please. Toys. Heck yeah. Walks. Oh my yes. Snuggles? Oh, the best thing ever, ever, ever. 

Tango is recovering from non-contagious mange, and he will continue grow out of it with medicated shampoo and the right food. 
 
Tango is working on potty training. He will go outside every time you take him out. His only accidents are if he doesn’t get taken out frequently enough for his still-developing bladder. He is crate trained. He is working on not jumping. He just gets so excited at first that he jumps up, but he is so easily trainable that it will be fun to work on this.  

Tango’s Ideal Home:

  • Active individuals or families

  • A home with a yard is a plus, but not required

  • Committed to continued training and exercise

  • Kids? Yes! Tango is gentle and goofy – though he’s still a pup, so older kids may be best

  • Dogs? Yes! Slow introductions recommended

  • Cats? Unknown, but with a slow intro, we think he could peacefully cohabitate very soon
