95 Pounds of Love
Turned in as a stray, "Big Ben" found himself at the San Jose Animal Care Center homeless, and with a large tumor on this back leg. We don't know his story, but we didn't want him to be left there. Despite being very friendly, Big Ben could not qualify for adoption because of the large tumor on his back leg and needed immediate rescue. His face says it all - he has SO much love to give, tennis balls to chew on, and crumbs to vacuum up. His prognosis was uncertain, but the love and support from the community was what allowed us to get the medical treatment that was necessary. Big Ben had his tumor removed by our friends at Adobe Animal Hospital, and it was tested and results were NO CANCER!! Thank you for your generosity.
