Lynette Furstenburg
Lynette has been Silicon Valley Pet Project’s bookkeeper since 2017. Soon after starting, she saw a picture of Penny who was a foster at the time. She could not resist her and soon Penny became part of their family, much to the delight of her and her 3 children, now aged 23, 19 and 16.
Lynette grew up in South Africa where she earned her degree in Internal Auditing. She has 15 years of accounting experience working with small to medium sized businesses, and a couple of tax seasons in public accounting. Most recently she started her own accounting consulting business, affording her time to serve as Treasurer for SVPP. She is looking forward to being part of the team in leading an organization that strives to help shelter pets in the Bay Area.
