Business Operations Manager

About the role
SVPP is seeking a part-time Business Operations Manager to keep our programs running smoothly and help us grow our impact. This role will report to the CEO and Board of Directors.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate community programs/events and support fundraising logistics

  • Lead volunteer onboarding, scheduling, and engagement

  • Oversee Pup Plaza facility scheduling and vendor coordination

  • Support marketing/comms (social, email, content updates)

  • Maintain simple processes, calendars, and docs across teams

What you bring

  • Organized, proactive, people-first collaborator

  • Experience in operations, events, and/or volunteer management (nonprofit a plus)

  • Clear communicator; comfortable with Google Workspace and basic CRM tools

  • Passion for animal welfare; able to work some evenings/weekends for events

Details

  • Part-time, hybrid (San Jose) | Hourly, DOE - 10 - 25 hours a week, based on experience
