Business Operations Manager
About the role
SVPP is seeking a part-time Business Operations Manager to keep our programs running smoothly and help us grow our impact. This role will report to the CEO and Board of Directors.
Key responsibilities
Coordinate community programs/events and support fundraising logistics
Lead volunteer onboarding, scheduling, and engagement
Oversee Pup Plaza facility scheduling and vendor coordination
Support marketing/comms (social, email, content updates)
Maintain simple processes, calendars, and docs across teams
What you bring
Organized, proactive, people-first collaborator
Experience in operations, events, and/or volunteer management (nonprofit a plus)
Clear communicator; comfortable with Google Workspace and basic CRM tools
Passion for animal welfare; able to work some evenings/weekends for events

Part-time, hybrid (San Jose) | Hourly, DOE - 10 - 25 hours a week, based on experience
